  • Prioritize hydration for 48 hours before your appointment, eat a good meal, and bring snacks and drinks for longer sessions. Inform your artist of any fresh injuries in the tattoo area, and refrain from major sun exposure for at least a week.

  • After removing the Saniderm bandage in a warm shower after 3-4 days, wash the tattoo 2-3 times daily with antibacterial soap. Apply a thin layer of unscented lotion multiple times a day. Avoid pools, lakes, and intense sun exposure for 2-3 weeks post-tattoo. Pat dry after showering, and refrain from picking at any scabbing or tight skin. Always direct aftercare questions to your artist.
