Lucky Bunny Tattoo officially celebrated its grand opening on August 23, 2024. The shop was brought to life by Dustie Pitstick, who transformed the space into a bright, welcoming studio with a strong connection to the local community.

The space itself carries a special legacy — it was formerly home to Gailz Tattooz, founded by Gail Carter, who served the Yellow Springs community for nearly three decades. When Gail decided to step back to spend more time traveling with her husband and embracing new adventures, Dustie took over the studio with love, care, and a passion for providing unique, permanent art to everyone who walks through the door.

Joining Dustie is a handpicked team of talented artists who share his commitment to creating beautiful work in a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.

After the whirlwind of opening the shop, Dustie has continued to expand its reach — welcoming guest artists from across the country, partnering with a piercer who also offers temporary tattoos for kids, and finding new ways to give back to the community. From keeping prices fair, to hosting WYSO flash sales, to offering a safe space for clients to relax, laugh, and connect, Lucky Bunny Tattoo is built on care and creativity.
